For a bridal gown consultation this is usually 60-90 minutes. We do not currently charge for our appointments. We only see one bride and their party at a time so you will have our complete attention.

For our new made to order ranges, we are authorised stockists for Nieve Couture, Diane Legrand, Ariamo, White Rose Graceful, Millie Grace, British Bridal, Fox Bridal, Rachel Allan and Richard Designs. However, as we also sell preloved and ex-display dresses, we will have various other designers in store at any time.   We have a very eclectic mix of styles and designs which lends itself to a great shopping experience!   We also stock accessories by Twilight Designs and Patricia Eve.

There will be a supply of bottled water and some biscuits and/or sweets. 

We would never insist you hold a sign and pose. Alot of brides like to record the moment and if you want to do that that's great, if you don't that's cool too!

This varies depending on if you are purchasing a sale dress or a made to order gown, but anything from £50-£700. 

Yes we allow photography.

No, the nearest WC is on the middle level of the Darwin Centre.

We are fully accessible and inclusive to all - please contact us before hand if you have any special requests.

It is very rare for a dress to fit a bride perfectly so it's important to budget additionally for alterations as they are not included within the price of the dress.  Furthermore some brides may want to change or customise their dress. We do not do in-house alterations, however  we work alongside several experienced self-employed seamstresses  who can help you. You would arrange a consultation with your chosen seamstress and schedule in your fitting dates to see them at their own studio.  Alterations normally start 6-8 weeks before the wedding. 

 Generally this is true, it really does depend on the designer though. We would encourage you to try different sizes anyway as we know what the seamstresses are capable of doing to ensure a good fit and we know our stock. Remember the size doesn't mean anything and it definitely does not define you!

 Of course, and we would welcome that.  A few is an ideal amount of people although we do have seating for around 5-6. NB: Whilst we welcome children to our shop we would kindly request that a responsible adult supervises them at all times for their own safety.  

 Just an open mind! Although it’s a good idea to wear supportive flesh coloured seam-free pants/shorts and preferably no fake tan please. 

We accept cash, credit/debit cards and BACS, but not cheques. We do not accept American Express.   Some brides opt to spread the cost monthly - this is interest free and is for a maximum of one year  (and max of 12 payments) and is subject to a storage fee of £50pa.

Yes we offer a wet clean service for £75.  We also offer a wet clean, steam press and box service - ideal for after the wedding for £180. Please contact us to book.  If you would prefer a dry clean method then it would be best to ask a local dry cleaning company if they have experience of your type of bridal gown. 

No, but we can offer to sell it for you; providing it is free from damage, has the designer label in tact and has been professionally cleaned - please contact us for further information on this service.

We do not sell prom or adult bridesmaid gowns but we do have a small selection of flower girl and christening outfits by Sevva. 

 No, all monies paid are non-refundable and we do not offer exchanges or credit notes.  This does not affect your statutory rights.  Full terms and conditions available upon request and given at time of purchase.

 Yes we will give you the QR code when you arrive.

 The nearest carpark is the multi-storey on Raven Meadows which is connected to the shopping centre.
